INVISALIGN, FOR INVISIBLE CHANGE!

WHAT IS AN INVISALIGN® TREATMENT?

The Invisalign® system is a series of transparent, removable, made-to-measure appliances that are used to straighten your teeth. Dr Archambault and Morton program the movement of the teeth with software in order to obtain optimal results. Trays are created using 3D technology. This technology is available for teenagers and adults that have certain problems with dental occlusion. Drs Archambault and Morton are certified Invisalign providers.

ADVANTAGES OF THE INVISALIGN® TREATMENT

The Invisalign® appliances are removable.

They allow you to brush your teeth and use dental floss as you would normally. There are also fewer dietary restrictions when using these appliances. Of course, this treatment is appreciated for their aesthetic appearance and discretion. However, it is always a good idea to validate with an orthodontist and make sure that this treatment is suitable for your needs.

QUESTIONS?

Visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for more.

Will I be able to afford orthodontic treatment?

We devote an hour or more to you or your child to examine and explain the orthodontic problems and possible treatment options. Please call us for more information on our consultation fees. If the orthodontist indicates that, for the time being, the situation only requires a periodic monitoring of your child’s dental development, it is good to know that these follow up appointments do not entail any extra fees.

If an orthodontic treatment is needed, the price will vary depending on the needs of the patient and the length of the treatment.

How long should I expect the first consultation to last?

The initial consultation will last about an hour. Your orthodontist will take the time to answer your questions and give you all of the information necessary to make an informed decision.

Detached brace or band

Eating sticky or hard foods may cause a brace to detach from the tooth. Therefore we don’t recommend these foods. If a brace or band does detach from a tooth and it is still attached to the wire or device, use a bit of wax to hold it in place until you can come to the clinic and have it fixed. If it falls off completely, keep the pieces, if possible. Contact us to plan an appointment.

Protruding wires causing irritation

If a wire comes undone or is hurting your cheeks or your gums, you can use a bit of wax at the pointy end. Dry the wire first. Add a small ball of wax, about the size of a pea, by pinching it on with your fingers. You can also cut the piece of wire with a nail cutter if you are comfortable doing so on your own. Please call us for assistance.

FINANCIAL OPTIONS AND INSURANCE

With regards to financing and insurance, options are available depending on your orthodontic treatment.
