A healthy lifestyle is key. The most important advice we can give our orthodontic patients is to keep their teeth clean!\u00a0Here’s how :<\/strong><\/p>\n

You should brush your teeth for at least 2 full minutes after each meal and before going to sleep (3-4 times a day) and floss at least once a day. Food easily accumulates around braces and wires. Cleaning your teeth will reduce the risk of cavities and permanent marks on the teeth. Excellent oral hygiene is essential to achieve beautiful orthodontic results!<\/p>\n

When we install your braces<\/strong>, we provide you with a rechargeable Oral-B electric toothbrush and a home care kit containing all the tools you need to keep your teeth and gums healthy. We also take the time to explain how to maintain healthy oral hygiene during and after your treatment.<\/p>\n

Finally, at each adjustment appointment<\/strong>, we take note of your hygiene and give you the advice to improve it if necessary. To encourage our patients to have a healthy mouth, we have set up a contest: ‘I Take Care Of My Smile’<\/strong> with drawings every month!<\/p>\n
